Peter is the founder and creative director of Peter O’Connell Communications and has worked in the media industry for 23 years, across digital, radio and print.  He worked as a reporter at The Clare Champion Newspaper from 2002 and as Editor in recent years. Prior to that he worked at Midlands Radio and Clare FM. He has contributed to a wide range of national media on various stories over the years.  He lectures in journalism at the University of Limerick and also teaches night classes in journalism.

Peter works with host of local suppliers and service providers to ensure that the needs of his clients are met.  He helps businesses’ to identify a clear and tailored communications strategy for the 2020’s.  He also jointly manages his sister company, Channel Clare, which specialises in live streaming of sport, feature packages and current affair productions.
